City of Sun Prairie Shelters, Gazebos and Athletic Fields may be reserved for private groups and events.

Shelter Reservation Information
- Park shelters and gazebos may be reserved one year in advance.
- Reservations are taken on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Reservations may be made in person at the Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department Main Office or online.
- Payment must be made at the time the reservation is made.
- Park shelters and gazebos may be reserved for use by individuals and groups.
- A non-resident surcharge is applied to those who do not live within the limits of the City of Sun Prairie and the Sun Prairie Area School District.
- Park shelter and gazebo reservations for 2022 will be accepted for the following date range: Saturday, May 6, 2023 through Sunday, September 24, 2023.
- Our Parks Crew members will open restrooms and drinking fountains by May 6, 2023 and will gradually begin winterizing all shelters by closing the restrooms and turning off drinking fountains beginning September 25, 2023.

Refund Policy:
Requests must be made during business hours of 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday. The cancellation request must be received at least ten (10) business days prior to the reservation date. The participant may choose between a 50% refund issues by city check OR a 100% program credit. The program credit may be used towards future reservations or recreation programs offered by the Parks and Recreation Department (excluding Discount Tickets). Reservations made within ten days of the reservation date are not subject to a cancellation refund or credit.
