Description:
Come and learn bike safety and participate in safe and organized group rides throughout Sun Prairie. We'll learn all about cycling laws, bike paths, and fun routes here in our community. This program is for parents, kids, and families looking to get out on the bike in Sun Prairie. Prior to our group rides, paricipants will attend a free session of the "Smart Cycling" course by Wisconsin Bike Fed. This course will teach you about bicycling safety, traffic laws, and get you comfortable on the bike. Each week the group will meet at the Westside Community Services Building in Sun Prairie for an organized ride through our community and the surrounding area.
Want to ride but don't have a bike? This year Free Bikes 4 Kidz has donated 10 youth bikes for to use for program. Notify your need for a bike upon registration and we'll get you setup (supplies limited).
Bike helmets are required to participate in program.
*Bike routes will vary in terms of their routing, ex: WCSB to Sheehan Park Loop, WCSB to Stoneridge Estates, etc.
