Fireworks Permit

Fireworks Permits are now online through OpenGov. 

Anyone applying for a Fireworks Permit must provide the following:

  • A copy of your Commercial General Liability Insurance Certificate
  • Written Affirmation from a Certified Pyrotechnician (ONLY for Fireworks Display Permit)
  • Written consent from the property owner
  • Detailed list of Fireworks to be sold/Displayed
  • A copy of your site plan
  • A copy of your Photo ID
  • Wisconsin Seller's Permit (ONLY for Sale of Recreational Fireworks Permit)

Simply go to this link to create or log in to your account in OpenGov.

Moving forward, once you create an account, your personal OpenGov account will allow you to:

  • Submit a new Fireworks Permit Application
  • Make a payment with an online payment option
  • Track the progress of your Fireworks Application
  • Message the City with questions or comments regarding your application
  • Print your Fireworks Permit.  Once approvals have been completed, the system will notify you when printing is available.  All applicants have the ability to print at home.

  • No Charge - Fireworks Display Permit
