Why does the City have an Economic Development department?

Economic development work includes business retention and expansion, redevelopment, downtown investment, industrial growth planning, public-private partnerships, tourism and brand alignment, and administration of public investment tools such as tax increment financing.

What divisions does Economic Development oversee?

Sun Prairie Economic Development oversees three divisions: Downtown Sun Prairie, Sun Prairie Farmers Market, Visit Sun Prairie (Tourism).
