GO-CART (Community Arts & Recreation Trailer)
Various locations and events throughout the summer!

The GO-CART project is a community arts and recreation trailer offering FREE enriching activities for all ages throughout Fun Prairie. Programs GO directly to kids in the neighborhoods where they live and play.

The projects is co-created with the Sun Prairie Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department and Prairie Music & Arts. It includes experiences such as lawn games, sports, fitness activities, music-making, arts & crafts, dance, creative writing, and interactive guest performances by professionals in the arts community.

Parker N. Rex's Sticker Scavenger Hunt
July 1 - July 31
All throughout Fun Prairie!

Replacing FUN Prairie Bingo this year will be a sticker scavenger hunt! Throughout the month, visit participating businessnes, community events, and attractions to snag exclusive stickers featuring Parker N. Rex's fun-loving adventures.

Collect all 14 stickers and be entered into a drawing to win great prizes including a one-year family membership to the Sun Prairie YMCA!

Pedal the Prairie
July 1 - August 31
All throughout Fun Prairie!

Whether you’re cruising the scenic roads of Sun Prairie or spinning indoors, challenge yourself to pedal 100 miles (or more!) between July 1 and August 31.  That’s just an average of 12 miles per week!  Track your miles, set your own pace, and enjoy the ride.  
 
This challenge is open to ALL AGES, so grab your bike, friends and family, and hit the road! Get a free t-shirt and participate in mini-challenges along the way! Top mileage awards are given for each different age group.

Parker N. Rex's Dino Egg Hunt

Grab your binoculars and get ready for an egg hunt that send you back into prehistoric times. Join us for a Pop-Up Dino Egg Hunt where you can search for prizes hidden in dinosaur eggs.

Slide-a-Mile Challenge

Think you have what it takes to slide your way to a mile? Join us for the annual Slide-A-Mile Challenge, where 26 thrilling trips down the big slide add up to one mile of pure splash-tastic fun! 

Register with staff at the bottom of the big slide. All participants must be at least 48” tall to participate.

Attention all adults, ages 18 and above! Have you ever wanted to slide down the gigantic slide at the Family Aquatic Center, but didn't want to be the only adult? It's the perfect opportunity to unwind, socialize, and embrace your inner child in a laid-back, adult-only setting.
